The sustainable fashion fair Neonyt examined the theme of Water and held a panel discussion on microplastics. The discussion was focusing on the root of the issue and potential solutions.
How can we lower the concentration of microplastics (for example fashion, cosmetics) in our atmosphere? Which levels of action are required? What would be the concrete steps at our own doorstep? At Neonyt Berlin, we had an inspiring discussion from various perspectives - manufacturers, NGOs and creatives. On this panel, I brought in the story of Ocean. Now! relating to the “big picture” and the hurdles we face on the political and economic impact level and opportunities to accelerate change.
