Program Director - Virtual Event Program 'Inseparable'

When COVID-19 affected the initial plans of an art exhibition, Ocean. Now! turned the lockdown constraints into an opportunity of hosting a virtual program - “Inseparable - on our relationship with the ocean and nature”.

For a period of four weeks, I conceptualized and directed the virtual program “Inseparable - on our relationship with the ocean and nature”, leading a team of 25 volunteers. The idea of I was to explore and examine the relationship we humans play

For a period of four weeks, I conceptualized and directed the virtual program “Inseparable - on our relationship with the ocean and nature”, leading a team of 25 volunteers. The idea of I was to explore and examine the relationship we humans play on planet earth, in general and particularly with regards to the pandemic COVID-19. Within a period of 27 days, Ocean. Now! realized 22 virtual events, attracting over 400 participants.

Particularly now, we wonder: where do we stand as humans on this planet? Now is the moment - in the middle of the crisis - as it will pass and it is high time to focus on what really counts: to preserve Planet A.
